Summary of Donations to Trees for a copse in memory of Roger Robson

Roger ‘Tony’ Robson, teacher, writer, journalist, director of plays, wrestler, commentator, shepherd, beltie-breeder and molecatcher, passed away peacefully at home on 6 January after a long illness, aged 78 years. He was the dear husband of Jill and much-loved father to Heather, Simon and Catherine, proud grandfather to six, little brother to Anne, cherished family member and good friend to many. Roger loved trees, native trees, exotic and rare trees, all trees. In his lifetime he planted over 1,000 trees and one of his last projects was to document all the trees on our farm. If you have space, we would love you to plant a tree, any tree, in Roger’s name. We also plan to plant up a small copse in his memory. It will be situated within sight of his home for 44 years and will be easily accessible to visitors. It will also have a practical purpose, providing shelter for livestock. If you wish to make a donation towards this project to honour Roger please use this website.
